I look forward to the Facebook memories on my feed every morning. It is always a nice reminder of how fast the boys grow and to really try and be present. It is my third summer in a row of moving and there definitely will not be a holiday. I am so grateful for the family holidays in PEI at the MacLeod cottage over the years and the memories we created there. Facebook reminded me today of this day with my Noah in Charlottetown, which is only a few years ago but so much has changed. Yesterday working at the house he drove over to say hi and it was the first time I saw my kiddo driving alone. It was awesome but so weird. Then he came back later with Liam and some dogs in the back and it was the oddest thing. So hilarious and it made me happy but it was one of those moments when I life smacked me in the face and yelled: "They are TEENAGERS!" All is see sometimes is three little boys smiling at me from the bathtub or sitting at the table waiting for their dinner or lined up on the sofa belly laughing at a movie. Little faces, big eyes and chaos...and now big handsome men being so independent. I am not okay with this...slow down life!
Then they loaded Ry in and took him for a play date for me. All three of them drove away alone in the car and I felt completely stunned....but so proud. They didn't need me, which kinda breaks my heart, but they are taking care of one another and really amazing young men and that makes my heart nearly burst.
Then reality hit, I had so much to do to finish making the house a home for them before we move. I grabbed a cider, turned up the music and headed to the basement to tackle the spiders and get painting the ceiling. Everything is different but everything will be okay.

Happy Summer friends,
