It starts tomorrow folks. The Kelowna Christmas Show and this elf is exhausted & EXCITED!
It has been weeks of nailing finishing nails into frames, sorting concrete letters, painting, and wrapping and planning. The truck is chock full of tables and stock. No need for the gym this week...bins of concrete letters and framed pieces have kept me working hard and hopefully the pack up will be much lighter after selling all weekend. It has been amazing to collaborate with eachanoriginal and I am passionately in love with all things concrete.
Here is a little taste of the Brights line...there will be a ton of set options and custom gift ideas to choose from...
Please come say hello. I will be in the outer concourse Booth C49. Last show at Bo.ttega I met some blog readers I didn't know and some facebook friends and it was awesome to finally connect in person.
Today as I worked in my frigid studio sorting and packing then trucking loads back and fourth across the snow to load in my beloved truck these are the words and this is the image I held on to. It looks just like Eva Lake behind our house in Whistler and the rock I often sat on with the mountain behind.
Wish me luck friends...I certainly have put in the hard work and will get back at last minute details before I call it a night. For artisans and artists of all types this is the busiest time of year..remember to shop local and support local businesses and buy handmade eco friendly gifts for you loved ones as much as possible. Less is more when it comes to Christmas and a piece made with love lasts a lifetime...Walmart shit will not be remembered.
