Oh how I love this image...September is most likely one of my fave months ever.
I am not ready to face the end of summer at all though. Luckily, here in the Okanagan we will have another wave of beach weather and I can't wait. A quiet tourist- free lake day of sun and paddling ending with a cool night of hoodies and cuddles under the stars around the fire...my September bliss.
This gorgeous image is from Faerie Magazine...it's filled with dreamy, magical images. The enchanted stories of faeries and knomes were one of the many things I adored about Ry being in a Waldorf school for preschool. The Cedar Bridge School is within biking distance and now as this darn strike continues I am pondering if we should have just kept him there.
Visit my Waldorf Love Pinterest board. When I craft or plan stuff for the boys I often go there for inspiration. Hitting the forest for a walk to collect art supplies in my pick over shopping at a big box craft or dollar store anyday.
As our BC teachers strike moves on I am working on some kiddo art lesson plans to help parents out as well. Our kids art education is rather sad to begin with, now it seems they are without any education till teachers find the resolution they seek and our kids are loosing out big time.
September passes quickly friends, savour the last bits of summer as the autumn crispness approaches. Soon a chill in the air will turn into full on fall weather.
