Last week I gave you Kid President with his adorable yet important message. Today I just stumbled across something that just made my day...which wasn't an easy feat after the doozie of a couple days I've had.
Woe is me right? I know better but as much as I've tried to focus on the big picture the little things keep chipping away at my sunshine. Let's just say the smallest issue over the past couple days was a dog that ate butter and then threw up butter on our fabric sofa, wool rug and a dry clean only special blanket that has now since been through the wash four times. Butter barf doesn't come out of things easily and greases up your washer and dryer well enough to easily slide a souffle out of...lesson learned. Also as much as last night's Salted Fried Chicken was a delish treat I will never be deep frying again without a deep fryer...over boiling oil on a gas stove is a nightmare. I don't know what I was thinking.
Feeling much better again after watching this beautiful short film...
(my blog template won't allow me to fit the whole clip so you can X out the ads...play here if you want the whole thing http://youtu.be/y_JAlTxc1k4 ...I despise those ads)
We are all connected, all things happen for a reason, and you get what your give thanks to good ole Karma. Too bad they didn't show this during Superbowl rather than a bunch of silly banking and beer commercials...it could have made a big impact. It's true life is fleeting...thanks to Noah and the Whale for this beautiful song and to the person who compiled these images to make such an amazing visual statment.
LOVE it.
