I have a soft spot for Johnny Cash and have shared some of his songs before. Him and his second wife June Carter Cash had a long, sweet relationship and I am always drawn to their songs and videos.
Today, after many a days without rain the skies are grey and the rain is coming down steadily.
Many people have been praying for it as summer forest fires spread here in the Okanagan Valley. I am doing an engagement party photo shoot for a special blog reader tonight and her family as they celebrate their eldest daughter's upcoming wedding to her high school sweetheart. She has gone to a lot of work to make it special and it's outdoors so hoping the rain pours down and calms the fires then takes a break just until the party time then takes a break and lets the sun break through for a few hours for Louise and her clan.
I thought I would share this lovely song by June Carter Cash for you to enjoy this rainy Saturday as well.
Happy weekend friends!
I was away from the computer this week and was lucky to have a couple days with five wonderful boys enjoying a dear friends cabin along the Kettle River. Swimming in the river around pristine mountains and lying in the warm sand watching the boys play freely, fish, explore and challenge themselves in the rapids and take care of one another really helped me recharge my spirit and mind. Thank-you Tanya and Rod, I appreciate your generousity more than you will ever know.
Looking forward to getting back to work this week on a fresh note starting tonight with this special shoot then falling into teaching SUP Yoga Monday evening before getting back to all my social media clients and photography edits. I am all over the map with work and life but I will Keep On The Sunny Side and trust in life to show me the way.
