Every spring our community hosts a Spring Tea at the school. I happened to be helping in the kindie room that day and Ry and his little Princess Sophie were very interested. So I took them for a stroll to the gym to say hello to everyone. After school I gave them their own little tea party to see what all the hullabaloo was all about.
I gave the guests of honor free reign in my room get fancy...scarves, jewellery, hats whatever they wanted. While they were playing dress up I quickly set up the party with my thrift store wares and was ready for them in a jiffy.
No kiddo tea party is complete without Bubblegum Tea by Steeped. It's a Canadian company that makes high quality loose teas with no artificial flavours or colours....sorry David's Teas, those things gotta go. It's a pretty pink and best without cream but they were excited to try all the fixings. I am hooked on Steeped Teas and Erin O'Hara is the expert. Her Steeped button is on my sponsors sidebar and you can see all the teas and tea goodies available to order. Loving the Amaretto, Coconut, Rooiboos and more. One teabell makes a nice big pot of rich tea.
The guests slurped many a cups of this blend.
It always amazes me from one angle to the next how the light can change so much about an image. I much prefer the light in the shot of Ry but this was a tea party not a styled shoot so I wasn't about to disturb Sophie to bring her into prettier spot.
How cute are they? But trust me, even toothless she is still adorable!
The party went on till the goodies were all noshed and the sugar bowl was empty....then it was time for some funny stuff.
These two have been buddies for almost four years now and I love their friendship. I hope one day when they are adults and hanging out having coffee they can look back at this post an smile, remembering the early days of an awesome relationship.
Love ya Handsome Ryan and Princess Sophie (their names for each other), your giggles, chatting and ability to demonstrate your third sibling talents at holding your own are charming. So looking forward to watching your friendship grow as you do.
