Crambe... I am rather smitten with this crop and have been doing Crambe 101 talks all week around the cottage(sorry but it's so cool, and I am annoyingly curious by nature.) Farmers have a tough go of things these days, being innovative and eco-friendly is so important. From a natural wrinkle cream to an industrial oil or biofuel, Crambe has great potential.
PEI is making a move as a major grower as Crambe...and around the cottage and on the North Shore of the island there are lovely fields of Crambe. Here is a little read if you are interested....

I am bringing a pouch of seeds with me to my friend Kiley at Back To Earth to see if she wants to whip me up a miracle wrinkle cream. I even found a recipe that sounds rather swell since it has my beloved lavender in it... http://www.countryfarm-lifestyles.com/homemade-face-cream-all-skin-types.htmlAnyone out there tried Crambe?
