or i suppose i should say hay
It's the latest we've ever been on Prince Edward Island and there are fields and fields of freshly baled hay everywhere...against the big sky, Atlantic ocean or the plowed fields of red dirt it's really beautiful.
I really need to make a point of getting out in the evening sun and taking pictures of the boys as this might be our last trip to the Island for a very long time.
I have done some photography just for the sake of it, but not a whole lot considering the amazing scenery and such. Today I did a series of close ups of shells and beach wood and it was fun. Over the past two weeks, I did lots of photos of the whole family at the cottage, but mostly candids here and there. I haven't had much energy or motivation to be creative other than thinking and reading heaps.
One afternoon I did finish learning all my ukalale chords and notes but I gave up when it came to reading the music and my darn book stopped writing the chords above the music...sheesh, that silly instrument is so much harder to learn than it looks...especially when you don't practice regularily. My own fault...and I will no longer ever feel guilty for forcing my boys to take music lessons until they are at least able to read music, I think these things are much more difficult as you get older.
