One of most wonderful things about Facebook, besides the social networking aspect, and being a handy procrastination tool, is the vast amount of information (useful and often not so useful) and talent that gets shared.
Last week via a friend's link, I discovered Only1Noah. He's an 18 year old self-taught singer and guitar player with an amazing voice. His fame started with a cover of LMFAO's Sexy and I Know It. It went viral and now Noah is on his way to a wonderful music career.
Once I heard Noah, I was so curious to listen to all his songs on you tube, so far this is my fave cover he's done a version of...
Second fave, who doesn't love Jason Mraz songs? ...
Mumford & Sons are a passion of mine and last year he did this version of Little Lion Man which is amazing considering it's him alone, outside with cows,a mike and a guitar!
It's so worth listening to Pumped Up Kicks and Sweeter too while you are at it.
Best part of me always playing new stuff on the computer as I work and cook in the kitchen???
My little minions hear, and if they like, as they did with Only1Noah, they gather and listen and explore more songs...then they usually disappear to their rooms and play their instruments with fresh inspiration and not a single nag from moi! Or sometimes they bring their guitars down to the kitchen and play along as best they can. My Noah actually pulled out his acoustic after a long while of snubbing it for electric.
Ry is fascinated by this clip even though he's light years away from being anywhere near playing a song like these poor kiddos, or an actual chord for that matter!
