Bring on the Halloween festivities....today was the Halloween Howl at school and tonight we have our first party. Not just any party, but rather, a party hosted by my friend Nat who's been decorating for weeks and whipped off just about everything from the Martha Stewart Halloween guide this year. A party with a popcorn machine, snow cone machine and cotton candy station. ATV rides around the decorated yard and costumes galore. Yes, I am rather excited!
Before we head out I thought I'd share a couple quick shots from today of the boys and some other kiddos from school in case you are still getting your own costumes together....there were some great ideas.
Dora, Boots and a Hobo who refused to dress as Diego but actually put together a pretty swell costume from things he had. Yesterday I picked up the grey wool gloves and scarf on clearance at Superstore for $1.94 each and the new Dr.Martin boots at Value Village for $15. There were a great find as he'll wear them all the time now instead of his rotton runners. Boots the Monkey had to wear green boots as red rubber boots were nowhere to be found.
My biggest boy...the "Hobo" ended up with a rather Hilar-ish mustache as it's next to impossible to find anything but black ones out there. I am going to glue on some hair with spirit gum later to make it more realistic.
Now for some other kiddos with rocking costumes...oops, we'll have to wait as I need to re-start the computer, I think I've overloaded it again.
