As promised here are a few shots from the party last night of some clever costumes. Barney Rubble is hitting the brie. Betty and Fred and Wilma were also at the party in their simple but fantastic fleece outfits. Here is Betty putting a little princess to sleep.
And because I have no shame and my hubbie is rather mean (he taped me snoring last week on his blackberry!) I will share this photo he took of me after the party. Black stuff still in my hair and a face mask to try and suck off all the makeup. I sat down to let the mask dry and my busy week and two glasses of wine caught up with me and I was officially out for the count. Prepare yourself this image is scarier than any costume you are bound to see this or any Halloween...
Silly, scary, sweet or sinful...whatever you decide to be this year have fun with it. Be creative, sometimes the best costumes come out when you use what you have and be creative.
p.s. We just watched Casper (not the cartoon version) with the boys...it's such a nice movie and the boys laughed their heads off, but why the heck do they have to call the villan Bitch? Now Ryan keeps yelling it out and laughing, hopefully our attempts to correct him with "witch" will set in. Nonetheless, I still cried at the end, it's one of those happy/sad kinda films that gets me everytime!
