One of my greatest joys is sneaking some time with a good magazine, especially anything to do with home design. I am also a bit of an eco-biatch (especially if I see you throwing a plastic water bottle in the garbage! lol) Anyways, I was so happy to find a new on-line magazine that focuses on both these passions.
Pure Green Living just launched and it's lovely. I was especially smitten when I saw the poufs that I have been swooning for included on the cover.
There is also a Pure Green blog filled with inspiring finds and gorgeous photographs. It will definitely be added to my blogroll so you can easily visit too in the future. The e-mag is bi-monthly so occasional blog visits will help fill in the downtime you might have anticipating the new edition.
I am so proud of the Canadian editors and publishers for putting out such strong publications lately...a couple of years ago I would have turned to the UK, Aus, and US for more innovative reads but us Canadians are really taking the spotlight now.
Pure Green also shares a daily green tip...I'll end this post and get back to my to-do list by sharing this fabulous idea,
Green Tip of the Day
Want a natural, effective, long lasting deodorizing sachet? Take a scrap of fabric and cut it round, about the size of a dinner plate. Place a cup of baking soda in the center, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil, and tie up with a pretty ribbon. Voila! Good for gym bags, shoe closets, dirty laundry, linen closets, your car, or whatever else you can think of!
Happy weekend eco-friends,
